Minaz Abji, Executive Vice President of Host Hotels & Resorts, has been selected to receive the 2016 Above and Beyond Humanitarian Award. The award will be presented at the Lodging Conference on Wednesday, September 28.

This award is given to a hospitality leader who demonstrates a commitment to the industry and the community.

Abji has served as a member of the Board of Trustees to the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Foundation (AH&LEF) since 2006 and has been elected Chairman each year since 2007. In addition, he has also been on several committees of the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AH&LA).

“I am humbled to receive this award and am grateful for the opportunities the hospitality industry has afforded me. I am passionate about giving back to educating the next generation,” said Abji.
