During this year's General Managers Meeting, Host Hotels & Resorts® proudly supported Green Bronx Machine, an impact driven, charitable organization that began as an after-school, alternative program for high school students and has evolved into K-12+ model fully integrated into core curriculum. 30,000 pounds of Bronx vegetables later, students grow eat and nurture their vegetables en route to spectacular academic performance and community engagement.

Melissagale Lechelt, a Host general manager at the Residence Inn Arlington Pentagon City, said “[Green Bronx Machine] was truly inspiring and felt proud Host had championed this group.”

Our gift will help generally support the program and build a National Health, Wellness & Learning Center at Community School 55.
