In honor of Earth Day and our commitment to environmental stewardship, Host Hotels & Resorts made a donation on behalf of our Green Team in support of Potomac Conservancy’s Growing Native program. Through this initiative, Host is helping to create forests for tomorrow. The Growing Native program involves collecting native tree seeds that are used to grow seedlings that are then planted to restore streamside forests.

In addition, Host’s Service team is organizing an environmental cleanup event, where employees will dedicate their time to restoring and improving the Potomac’s lands and waters. Employee volunteers will be out on the towpath and shorelines at Fletcher’s Cove along the C&O canal picking up trash and clearing trails.
