As part of the charitable giving program at Host Hotels & Resorts, we organize funds for disasters and tragedies to ensure that we are doing our part to support those in need. Along with our ongoing collaboration with the American Red Cross as part of the Ready 365 Partners in Preparedness program, this enabled us to act quickly as Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria devastated our local communities

Host made an initial donation to the American Red Cross in support of Harvey relief efforts and purchased 10,000 comfort kits for Irma victims. We also contributed to Marriott International’s TakeCare Relief Fund to help employees at Host’s affected hotels. Host also matched each of our employees’ donations to the American Red Cross. Host and its employees donated over $150,000 in support of relief efforts for Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria.
