Host Employees Participate in Habitat for Humanity Metro Maryland's Women Build
05/11/2018
On Friday, April 13, eight employees rolled up their sleeves to participate in Habitat for Humanity Metro Maryland’s Women Build 2018. The all-female team continued work on the same house in Largo, MD that another group of Host volunteers did demolition work on last September. Working alongside the homeowners, our volunteers used a chop saw to cut siding and install it on the front and side of the house. By the end of the day, the group had installed new siding on half of the house.
This project was part of Habitat for Humanity Metro Maryland’s Women Build in which 30 teams of women worked together in a multi-day fundraising effort to support renovations and new homes for low-income, hardworking families in our local community.
