Host once again received a score of 80% on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2020 Corporate Equality Index (CEI),  the nation’s premier benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality. Host joins the ranks of more than 1,000 major U.S. businesses that were also rated this year.

The results of this year’s CEI showcase how 1,059 U.S.-based companies are promoting LGBTQ-friendly workplace policies. Companies were rated on criteria related to non-discrimination policies, employment benefits, demonstrated organizational competency and accountability around LGBTQ diversity and inclusion, public commitment to LGBTQ equality and responsible citizenship.

In 2019, Host demonstrated its continued commitment to LGBTQ equality and advocacy by joining HRC’s Business Coalition for the Equality Act—which creates clear, consistent protections to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity in employment, ensuring that LGBTQ employees are hired, fired, and promoted based on their performance. This contributed to our 80% ranking in the 2020 Index.
