As a part of Host’s charitable giving program, we organize special donation funds in response to a disaster or tragedy to support communities in critical need of help. In light of the ongoing bushfires in Australia, we will be making donations to two organizations to support their relief efforts—the American Red Cross (ARC) and Humane Society International (HSI).

Host has a longstanding partnership with ARC, serving as a member of the Ready 365 Giving Program and supporting relief efforts for recent natural disasters. Our donation will be directly funneled to the Australian Red Cross and will provide critical support to the people affected by the fires—including the delivery of basic necessities like food and water, emergency accommodation, locating missing loved ones and the launch of a cash grant program to help meet their immediate needs and to support local businesses.

In addition, Host’s support of HSI will allow the organization’s Animal Rescue Team to continue its on-the-ground response and recovery efforts in Australia and help affected animals by providing emergency field rescue and evacuation, providing food and water and building rehabilitation enclosures for koalas and other wildlife.
