Host Named One of the World’s Most Sustainable Companies in S&P Global’s 2025 Sustainability Yearbook for the Sixth Consecutive Year

02/26/2025

For the sixth year in a row, Host was designated as one of the world’s most sustainable companies and was one of only 13 U.S. real estate investment trusts (REITs) in S&P Global’s 2025 Sustainability Yearbook.

The Sustainability Yearbook is a showcase of the world’s leading companies among industry peers in terms of financially material environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics. The selection of companies in the 2025 Yearbook is based on the 2024 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA)—an annual evaluation of companies’ sustainability practices that also serves as the basis for the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices and its list of global sustainability leaders.

In order to be listed in the Yearbook, a company must score within the top 15% of companies in its industry and achieve an S&P Global ESG Score within 30% of the industry’s top-performing company. Over 7,690 companies were assessed for the 2025 Yearbook—of these, only 780 top-performing companies were included in the 2025 edition.
